Something else I want to ask. Im sure this has been done, but it always makes us stop and really think about the person we were with.

Im know there are many for me. Fill in the blank: The one thing I remember most I HATED about him/her was...

At family dinners, he and his father and brothers would FART and LAUGH about it! An Irish Catholic family. Special occassions, Easter, Christmas, birthdays...they did it! I was so embarrassed! And it didnt matter who was there. My mother, or another non-family memeber, a guest. SO ugly!!!

Swear to God, vhj! He would put it on the shelf on top of our bed and see how much he could collect. Even joked about making a sweater out of it!!!!!

diemjs - that's just gross. Anyway, I hated how mine ALWAYS had to fix everything I did. It was a weird passive aggressive criticism - he'd never out and out tell me I did it wrong, but he'd rearrange furniture while I was on a business trip, walk in and taste dinner and add salt or something else to it to make it better... you name it. And if I didn't agree with him, he'd ask me the same question over and over and over... I'm like - I told you what I think, asking me 75 times is NOT going to make me change my mind.

This is addictive.

He would cut his toenails in bed and throw the remains on the floor.

AND

When he was done with the "chew", he would spit out the little leftovers on the floor next to the bed!

I could write a book on all the horible things about him that I hate, but the biggest thing that really bothers me is that my parents went above and beyond for us and loved him like their own son, and when he walked out on me he turned on them like a viper. Everything about him disgusts me!!!

I have many but one is the Spit Cups and bottles. Hated them.

Didn't like it when I was the one who was always wrong in an argument or disagreement. I was always the one that apologized no matter who was wrong.

I can't believe what bothered me the most didn't come up. I may have missed it. My STBX has six sisters. They would rip on the in-law of the moment. I hate gossip. Every single one of us got it. If you're ever upset, tell me. We can work it out. Don't bitch behind my back. In my family everyone has gotten along for over 25 years without one disagrement. We talk. If we somehow upset someone else, we instantly say how sorry we are. It works for us.
