I feel like I never get better. I feel that I won't ever be the same person again. I can't seem to get the connection with anyone anymore and it hurts me inside. Lately, I have just thrown myself into a mental dungeon. A dungeon that I can't escape. That dungeon is my thoughts, emotions, and heartbreak. Sure, I've been in relationships here and there but they never work out and end up making me more broken and cold hearted inside. I act like this social nice guy and I don't get any recognition for it. I hate being used for being the good man I am. I know people say "don't look for it and it'll come to you." Well, I've been doing that for a while and I've given up. I go to the gym, class, then straight back home. I feel miserable insie and feel like I am lagging in life because I am almost out of college and not have a stable relationship that will turn into marriage. I hate being in my room drinking heavily and not having someone to talk to that understands me....... please help...

My best friend ruined my day with her immature, bitchy self. If she doesn't get her way, she has a tizzy fit. I told her weeks ago that I couildn't go to yard sales with her on 9/12 because i have a hair appointment. She wasn't happy. I also told her that I don't have any money to go to yard sales. She tried to talk me into going to more yard sales by saying that if I don't go, there...
I wouldn't compare yourself to anyone else. You are your own person. The fact that you don't have a marriage minded relationship and you are only in college? That's probably for the best, in my opinion. Have fun in your 20s! You will meet the right girl when you are both ready. Don't give up... get out there and do something different.
If I was interested in a "stable relationship that "may" turn into marriage", I would not be spending time with a guy retreats to "his room drinking heavily" when times get difficult.
Not good relationship material.

"I act like this social nice guy and I don't get any recognition for it. I hate being used for being the good man I am."
That sounds entitled and controlling. "I'm a good guy so you owe me a relationship"' is not the right attitude to have when meeting people with the purpose of entering into a new friendship/relationship.
