So many of the posts on this site are focused on dealing with moving on, and I can understand the importance of that when the divorce is over. I want to save my marriage. I want the impending separation to somehow result in a renewal of my wife's love for me. I want to use the time to examine myself and make an effort to better myself for not only my wife and kids but for me. But this is exhausting and sometimes I feel a sense of hopelessness. I need to find encouragement and motivation sometimes, and understanding and comfort at other times.
Is there anyone else out there with a similar desire?

If the definition of your marriage is that you need to make her happy, that is a 2some that can't last, as she'll always need from you
You can change a trillion things about yourself, yet it will still always be 1 short of what she needs
If she can't / won't change there is no hope for an honest marriage
Hope and wishing are two different things
Hope is noble and just thing,
Hope for get to have a change of heart
(Realize that may be more of a wish )
Hope that you keep the good character you have and that you continue to develop it
Hope the best things the right honest things work out for your children
