I watched Indecent Proposal when it was first released.. doesn't mean I'd cheat on my husband for money.. The temptation would be there but I could not be happy with the money afterwards so there'd be no point..
Choices..

i disagree that moral people don't have a chance. a chance at what? at keeping a low life cheater who is not worth having?
I think that is still true in society. We do have individuals, and at times , pockets of people who think the rules just don't apply to them and are without morals or scruples. But I still firmly believe that is the minority and not the large majority. Call me Pollyanna, but that's what I think.

it's kind of Darwinian, isn't it?
I am all for second chances but I want honest change. I want to see an upheaval in society. I want those people who cheat, lie and hurt others to actually FEEL the long reaching consequences of their actions. I want accountability and ownership of the problems they create.
Yeah ... I know. And then I'll get to see purple fairies fly outta their butts.
Never mind her ex-son-in-law did the SAME thing.
Tiger - she forgave.
Mikey? - not so much
Life is school, kids, and house. And when the stress isn't driving me up the wall...it's great. I wouldn't trade a night playing Uno for anything. (Sometimes they even let me win...lol.)
IDK, I just don't see the point about lying about anything. Cheating, well old eyes would make that impossible even if I wanted to do that...and I don't. I want to feel good and competent at what I will be doing, and I won't get there by cheating. Stealing, I'd rather someone broke in and stole half of my stuff....it's just stuff. Stuff is nice, but mostly just more work taking care of it.
I honestly don't even feel like arguing about anything. I went in and asked about my quiz and I had to say 3 times that I wasn't arguing it. I just wanted to know her thinking. She's the one with the clinical experience, she's the one I'm Paying to learn from, she's the one that knows what she's doing. I may someday end up doing things my own way, but as long as I have the resources to learn from, I'm going to run with it.
As for alcohol or drugs: I've seen enough hung over people to know that most of their time is spent recovering rather than having fun.
Mindless sex: well it's mindless.....
So I guess I'm moral by default.
