What does it say when the only thing you miss about the relationship was the physical intimacy? Is this part of the healing process, or is it telling me that the physical intimacy was the most important part of the relationship?

Agreed, You are getting past the emotional needs, the emotional hurt and now th physical needs are front and center....... the physical needs are easier to fulfill.....

That became the only connection my stbx and I had over the last two years of our marriage. Probably even longer than that. I have come to see how little he was involved in my life or our childrens. Everything with him was just a surface act. I think you are learning more about yourself.

Sex is great. For me it was the act of love and it was physical proof that she loved me.........I was wrong. Then again, she held out a lot so that shoots that theory down. I think that we all get to the point where we miss it.

Some people go out and have wild flings and the like. I don't suggest that because it will only damage us further and cause us more problems (I had my little experience with something like this once and I will NEVER do that again).

If Slac was here, she would tell you what to do about missing the physical intimacy....but since she is not I am sure that you can figure something out! LOL

I just miss having freakin' sex, dammit! I miss having it with her, but don't see why it would be bad just having a casual fling. Damn, I miss having sex...dammit!

Then again... he was terrible in bed... I mean ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!

I'm with Rj. I don't miss the sex with him, at all. But I do miss it in general. I can't do casual fling though. It's not in my nature. That means I need a serious relationship. And you can't find those in the super market, can you?
