I cried my eyes out when I had to sell my ring. I was broke. That ring costed over $10,000. I got $3,500. So very sad. I'm so sorry.

I still have my rings, i was going to make
A charm with the diamond and the gold
for my chain. Very glad i didn't do it now.

I am not sure what I am going to do. Maybe
Cash them in for something different.

My wedding dress i tried selling years ago
to Get rid of it, no buyers. It ended up getting
yellowed And ruined eventually just threw
it out.

Don't throw out your photos i still look at mine,
we Split them 50-50 He probably didn't take
any Wedding ones.

I have all my photos together so its okay to look
at them. Its just history of everyone In your life,
even the wedding ones. HUGS

It must be hard to part with your wedding dress but at least you made something out of it. Mine is dirty at the hem and I might just keep it like that. Photos are still in my instagram. Might not even remove it because just like Mirandac said, it's part of the history of everyone in our lives.

Photos are hard I can't even look at them right now I'm going to keep.them because they are part of my past I have then all put away I don't know when I will be ready for that

I have looked thru my tub of photos many times
Since i moved to my apt. It doesn't bother me.

I even tore up three bad wedding Photos on my
divorce date for symbolism. i have another DD
Coming up next month maybe i should tear up a

I'm so sorry for what he's done I also don't understand how someone could just walk out on somebody especially without a proper explaination. A lot of unanswered questions in this world I am afraid but thank goodness for amazing people to support and lift us up during these rough times.

Your name, "Strong4me" is truly admirable! You have incredible strength and it shines through in what you have shared here. Have you thought about talking with a counselor, pastor or trusted friend? I'm sorry you're feeling this way but it's natural...we all run through similar questions in our heads. It's been a year and I still haven't sold my ring. Been meaning to but somehow everything else seemed more important and truth be told I fear it's going to be a little embarrassing when I go into the store to sell it. But the thing is just gathering dust...it's money that could be doing something better so I'm gonna push myself soon to do it. How could our ex's just walk away? There's a slightly different answer for each of us but they did it anyway...it's done...we just have to accept it. We can't control the past but we still have control of the future. Concentrate on making your future 100 times better than anything you'd imagined. It's possible but you have to let go of the past and start working on your future. Best of luck!

Keep your photos as a gauge to how you are healing. When you can look at them and feel no pain you will know that you are moving on. It takes time. Sometimes years. But know that it will happen.
