My ex and the OW are getting married..in March.
They were both married when they met. My Divorce was pretty simple. The OW had a very long and ugly Divorce..including a custody battle. The whole thing was pretty public and ugly and they both suffered at work..where they met. Messy stuff.
Anyway..they are getting married and the kids tell me today that they have been fitted for Tuxedos..and she is wearing a long white wedding dress.
Fairly big wedding. None of my ex's friends would agree to stand up with him. He had to call an old friend who lives out of state and hasn't seen him in 3 years to be his best man.
A big wedding and a white dress.

My ex's will be free after the wedding and honeymoon is over and they both stop trying to impress each other. She realizes that he has nothing to contribute and he realizes that sex with your wife in bed is not nearly as exciting as the backseat of the Jeep.
FYI..he had to sell the Jeep to pay for the Divorce :)
When I was married I wanted to renew my wedding vows on a beach someday. Once I got divorced I decided I would get married on a beach if I were ever to do it again. I am currently engaged and no immediate plans for a wedding but I know it will be on a beach in the Carribean or Hawaii. This will be a second marriage for both of us so nothing fancy. We probably won't have the kids there either. I would never consider having a big wedding or wearing a white wedding dress especially in her situation. HOW TACKY!!!

I can actually top that tackiness, but not with a divorce story.
My cousin got married at 18 in a white spaghetti strap wedding dress when she was 8.5 months pregnant. Huge ready to pop stomach and all. Not only did she send out her wedding registry in the invitations but she also included a baby registry in it too. Sorry but I almost died from the tackiness.
Some people just don't get it, do they?
