Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. For those of you who have been following my story a bit. I guess you know that I had put a deadline on this weekend for deciding if I was going to move away from my kids and stbx 1.5 hours away to my hometown.
The thinking was I would be happier being around those who love me, and around my friends. I dont really have a support network in this town, as I moved here for my stbx's job.
Well I have finally decided on what im going to do. Im going to stay here, close to my kids.
I will have to buck up, and get on with my life, without having my friends and family right down the road. They are still close enough to go visit on the spur of the moment, and I plan to do that often. But I want to be here to take care of my kids, especially my youngest, and I am not willing to give up ANY of my custody time with him.
In fact the stbx came over today to talk to me at lunch about my decision, and we sat down and got our date books out, and she has plans on 3 of her days in the next 3 weeks. So I get 3 extra days this month!! So right away my decision paid off.
She is turning into a social butterfly, and she does lots of things with her new guy. That is sad for me, but also gives me a great chance of seeing my boys more.
Now its all about finding a job! Please with me luck and say a prayer for me (if you are into that). I need work like NOW!

Since you ask for prayer, and seem open to really finding your way & recovering, I encourage you to look up DivorceCare.org and find a class in your area (it's once a week for 13 weeks, and the topics range from Anger, to Depression, to Children issues, financial issues, etc). It's helping me A LOT, and I hope it can for you, too.

My stbx decided to go out tonight. Guess what? I got the kids! Its such a blessing to have them here with me, when they would have been at a babysitter otherwise while she "does her thing".
Thank you all so much for the support. Hopefully by the end of the week I will be reporting a new job!!
