I have been with my husband for 16 years now. During that time I have struggled with health problems, depression, self esteem issues, and generally how to be a good wife. I wouldn’t say I am the worst, but my problems always got in the way of me being what I could of been. I have come from an extremely toxic, abusive childhood, raised by narcissistic addicts that hated each other and was very isolated in their misery. Needless to say I was quite broken when I met my husband at 18 and I put him through hell.
Now we have a 3.5 year old, which I can proudly say I am a great mother and have cut out my family due to their toxicity, and I am 7 months pregnant with our second child. I am 34. My husband has a lot of complaints some being from the past and others not being consistent enough with my wifely duties. (Making food on time, routine etc)
he had broken up with me about two years ago for a year under the guise of trying to better himself and turned out he was having an emotional affair through IG with a past girlfriend that entire time, possibly longer. He and I still lived together and I thought I was proving myself to be better for him during that time. I was blind sided.
Let me be clear that he had good reasons reasons to run like hell when he first met me...I was a fucking mess. Self destructive and didn’t know how to love myself. Still don’t really. Low self esteem, jealousy issues, anger issues, possessive...I was quite the shit storm at 18. He saved me. He was nothing but loving and kind and put up with far too much for far too long. He is a good man. I just think I hurt him too deeply and now he has hardened towards me and I created a toxic relationship between us. I have been unfaithful when we were younger during a break. Full disclosure.
Fast forward to now, he recently has pulled away and told me I need to figure myself out. I instantly figured he was cheating and accused him. I panicked and demanded to know if he was breaking up with me. I’m hormonal and have hyperthyroidism and can be irrational at times. Plus I’m pregnant...he said I backed him into a corner cause he isn’t happy rn and if I’m demanding an answer than yes we are over.
I am heart broken. I know I have been the problem in our relationship and that I am worthless and undeserving of someone like him, but I am crushed. I do love him with everything that I am...and I don’t know what is wrong with me. I am a sahm and we are still living together, but it’s awkward and I am dying inside. I hate myself and I am so full of regret. I have no family and only 1 friend and she lives across the country. We recently moved out of state ourselves and I know nobody. I am not the social type and all I really had was him.

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...
