It's been awhile I just want to vent!!

So it's been awhile since I've posted. My divorce has been done for alittle while now. My ex hasn't had anything to do with our kids but their teens so it's not as bad on them as it could be if they were younger. I havent had any luck in the dating department I've joined some groups on Facebook and they actually dont want us flirting or dating which I think is ridiculous,  everyone just wants love. My ex just recently sent me his wedding photo to throw in my face he got remarried it upset me but only cause I'm single not cause hes taken I dont want him. I'm just really struggling with finding my place I keep hearing u find it when u quit looking. It's crazy how not being in a relationship makes me feel empty but I dont just want to be with just anyone. Any advice would be great...

No great advice for you but wanted to send you a hug. I am in the same situation, my ex-husband is getting remarried in less than a month and i'm still single. Although I know I don't want my ex back, it stings that he has found "happiness"

I have dated a little but nothing super promising. I like you will not just settle for anyone. I am not one of those people who enjoys being alone all the time. I like having people around me. I want a partner

Keep on keeping on. Know that it is going to be a roller coaster ride. Hanging in the trenches with you. Here if you need a friend

This was cruel what you ex did but, don't feel like you have to get someone right away just to say you have someone. Sometimes we react too quickly after being divorced and we make mistakes all over again. Being alone isn't the worst thing in the world. Better to be single than miserable or being controlled by somebody. Take your time and set your goals high.

Well obviously you deserve better than him. It's a shame he don't see his kids but again they don't need a dad who isn't a real dad. It takes time on dating. I really haven't tried to date but just the thought frustrates me as I have kids and am busy and it's just hard for me to get out there. I like to spend time with someone get to know them however have absolutely no ambition!!

    My day...today...misplaced my debit card...didn't realize it until I got to the register after shopping to a full cart.  Used a different debit card and pulled apart everything looking for missing debit card before I left parking lot.  Got home, dropped keys.
