Southern and I have decided to host a meetup in New Orleans over the long weekend for President's Day in Feb.. We would love to have you all join us. We are checking on the best rates. We will have a balcony room on Burbon Street and lots of beads!! This is the week before Mardi Gras so it will not be so crowded but still tons of fun!! Please mark your calenders and plan to join us!! We will be in touch as we get details so we can make reservations early! We can't wait!! Shopping at the French Market by day and Burbon Street at night!! Music, drink, food, fun and FRIENDS!!! We can't wait!!! Hope you can join us!! Dates Again Feb. 15,16 & 17

I think I screwed up the dates it may be the 13, 14, 15. Friday, Sat and Sun. where Monday is President's Day. You guys are smarter then me, so I know you can figure it out. I have been training on a DOS based computer system all week, cut me some slack!! New job is a bear!! I will need a drink by then!!!

Ooh. That's Valentine's Day. As if we don't already have enough excuses to grope each other at meetups . . . .

I'd really love to do this, both because I want to meet everyone and hang out, but also because I've never been to NO or Mardis Gras, but I think it's unlikely I'll be able to. I've got a weekend in NYC two weeks before that, and I doubt that I'll be able to afford two big weekends away like that.

But I'll try.

I am going to try and make this one. I will go up to my family near the border and mosey my way over for the weekend!!!! Going to be a blast!!!! thank you BFF and Southern for doing this.. I will try....not sure. I just took off those days for winter break for my kid but my Ex said he is taking him. I'm just a little afraid to buy the ticket and he flake out on me.

Oooo. I can get a pretty affordable flight, but that's the time of year when we usually get a foot and a half of snow dumped on us.
