Rman....many said it trust your gut. I did and was right, gave it a second chance like an ass but it was worth it, so I thought. I would come right out and ask and hope for honesty from her. If she truly does want to give your marriage a second chance, honesty is very important and certainly having an affair would I hope be enough for you to leave. I can imagine how it must feel to be told you're no longer attractive to your spouse. I had mine told me he hadn't been in love with me in 2 years and I thought I would die when he did. Are you guys doing couples counseling at all??

Just wanted to add my 2 cents. My husband heard rumors that I was having an 'affair' of sorts. I had heard these rumors as well, and confronted him with it. I told him that nothing was happening with this friend of mine. I swore to him that there was nothing to worry about. He still has lost trust in me. I know that I did nothing wrong. The lost trust will ruin what ever we had. I am seeking help, as is he.
I suppose that if the tables were turned I would probably have felt the same way he does.
Maybe you two could try couples therapy to work through it? Or give her the out. Tell her if she is not happy6 that you will help her get on her own and make it a clean break rather than a messy one? Good luck. I hope this made some sense, coming from a womans side...

I had many chances to cheat on the ex as 25% of my life was in another city for work purposes...he hand't touched me in 2 years and so...my loneliness was there with it's vulnerability....my ex accused me at one point as he had hacked into my email address and I encouraged him to call around.
