I thought each day was suppoed to get better
I have OCD and anxiety - after almost three years, which I thought were wonderful - my boyfriend decided that he could no longer handle my worries because he felt like I did not trust him (due to anxieties, past experiences being cheated on, etc) and decided to end it. He was sad, crying, etc the first two weeks after, trying to ease me out of it I guess and then he got mean, calling me names, screaming at me and cursing me. He told me that he never wanted to speak to me again and that I was a piece of s***, etc. I miss him though and I don't know how to move on, I wish he would want me back, I replay our conversations over and over in my mind and the three years in which he never cheated on me and I thought that we were perfect, but apparently, he was thinking otherwise. Advice, please.

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...
""then he got mean, calling me names, screaming at me and cursing me. He told me that he never wanted to speak to me again and that I was a piece of s***, etc."
Then you wrote - "I miss him though and I don't know how to move on, I wish he would want me back,"
Which part exactly of his description would you "want back"? Yes, it is ,always always great in the beginning, it is biological. and the chemical releases in our brain that make it always seem good in the beginning.
I have anxiety and OCD too, so I do understand. But come on.... you don't want this guy who is verbally abusive. I don't care that you thought he was cheating or that your anxiety may or may not have gotten in the way.... Maybe you had good reason to think he was cheating. But in any case, the way he acted and reacted.... you don't need that in your life. You will find better, trust me. It hurts right now but it wouldn't be any better if he came back. You need a nicer, more understanding guy.
You can do better than him
