Tacos should not come in a taco shell.
They should be made with a fresh tortilla. hand made if possible. And... they are not eaten with sour cream (sorry Melin!).
You put carne deshebrada, or chorizo, or papas con rajas, or carne al pastor, or carnitas, or just plain beans in a fresh tortilla and then some salsa, chopped onions and oregano...

I haven't heard of a "pink" taco, I've seen the fiery hot red one, not daring enough to try that! Anything that flaming hot, has to hurt all the way through.

I think I have seen the pink ones but when you heat them up they turn the firey red.....and the really good ones will make your eyes water.....
