when he refused a blow job....not kidding. that was my 'holy shit' moment.

When she refused to let me see our online bank statements b/c she didn't want to upset her business partner in case I saw her business accounts (which I had no interest in).

Well.. If I am honest with myself- our relationship never really recovered from the first time he cheated on me (a year into our marriage- and I was three months pregnant).... WHY I stayed- I have NO idea why- but I did... I held out hope- I wanted to believe it would get better... 14 years later- not only was it not any better- in many ways it was a whole lot worse.... but it was officially over when I learned about his latest affair (am I grateful I didn't know about the ones in the middle? Hmmmm....)

A multiple of events because I'm really thick headed and don't give up easily.

When I realized I was turning into HIS mother! EEWWWWWWW Just the thought makes me shiver.

When he looked me straight in the eye and lied with nary a tell.

When I was on the internet looking at software to download to his phone to track him & his calls! I decided I wouldn't be that crazy woman.

when he said to me, "don't kill yourself, the kids would never forgive me."

When I found more text messages to some OW that were quite pornographic.....this after catching him cheating on me

When he started constantly complaining about my son and foster daughter and actually starting calling the daughter the "c" word to her face

When I realized that he just didn't care about anyone but himself!

When I heard my children yelling, "daddy don't hurt mommy"

It seems we are all in about the same boat.

when he started keeping secrets from me, calling me names, and trying to change who i was. i thought he was supposed to love me for me. also when i found him in bed with someone else. the crazy thing is that i actually kept dating him after all that hoping he would go back to the guy i used to know. never happend.

After 24 years of beating me up and choking me, lying to me, withholding money to pay the bills....I told him he could no longer do that to me......he moved on to beat up our son and dog (son was trying to protect our youngest daughter from stbx).....it was OVER!!!!

When he came home drunk and told me "I love her and she loves me... and you need to understand our love" Uh yeah? I do??? Nope don't think so. He still doesn't even remember saying it... but won't deny it either.It is over.

I had the light bulb moment as soon as I found out I was pregnant with our youngest son....Oh, wait, the lightbulb moment might have been when he slept with his now gf in our bed. Or maybe it was when he would call her to complain when we had a fight. There were many times I should have told him I was done that I didn't. Silly me thought it might be important to work on our marriage lol.
