Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
but one day you will start feeling better. I pray that day comes quickly for you
I think we all feel that way. It hits us personally.
I would feel like you and can reflect back to some times where I experienced that feeling as well.
But listen, Things have a way of working out in the end as they should. I know this means nothing now, but In hindsight you may look back on this day and realize it was the best thing that could have happened.
Find some peace this weekend with your pooch.
Im here if you need anything.
This week has truly sucked! I cannot stop the thoughts of my now ex-wife on a cruise with guy, I'm really making myself sick. My BP has been through the roof all week and I am constantly dry heaving. And now I'm sitting outside my job writing this and crying, I'm tired of crying!!! I know she's not crying!!
The pain of the divorce hurt and while I had thoughts in my head there was another man, I actually never knew it. But now that I know it, this has been the most painful week of this whole process so far. I'm having such a had time understanding how this women I loved and cared for for so many years can just deceive me like this. 28 years together and 3 days after the divorce she's on a cruise with this prick. And what does this say of his character!!
The divorce was a knife to the heart and the deception is her now twisting it. It hurts so much!!
ChiTownBear - my plans are to take Duke for a nice ride to the beach tomorrow in the new Duke-mobile, I'm sure he'll love that.
Sunday I am having a coupe of friends over for a BBQ as we prepare for the season premiere of Game of Thrones. Sadly this is one memory that is going to hit me as this was one of the shows the wife and I religious watched together. But having a coupe of friends over will help keep my emotions in check.
Sorry if this post is all over the place, that's just how I am right now.

If its any comfort, when people act in a manner she has, it will come back on to her twice fold, while hard to imagine or believe right now.
I hope you and Duke have a great drive!
After you have endured this kind of pain, it is probably not the best idea to try and be friends. If you can, please cut off all the contact with her so you don't have to have a the salt poured on the wounds
You are doing the right thing by talking about this and crying. It is all very very productive and conducive to healing. In my observation it takes about 3 years to move on from divorce, but if you find yourself in the same state 6 months from now, it probably means you are stuck.
You will be gradually getting better.
I know this is of little consolation right now because you want HER, but you CAN have another relationship again which will make you extremely happy and satisfied. It really is possible.
I lost a relationship once in which I was in love, crazy in love. I could not imagine my life without that person. He did something horrible and I had to break it off. It hurt so much that I was in physical
Pain.. I never thought I could get over it, but I knew that I need to and I did.
Best wishes to you.
Had a great day with Duke, we found a nice beach for him to take some dunks in the ocean, yea. His 1st time in the ocean and he had a blast, I'll post some pics later.
Now I'm home watching the Rangers get their asses kicked by the Penguins. Ugh!
Anyway the ex is back from her cruise tomorrow and at some point this week I will contact her and tell her to stay out of our lives. She walked out on Duke and I and there are consequences for that. You are all right, I need to break off all contact ASAP if I'm going to heal. She has her own life now with her new man.....time to get your own dog!!! There are plenty of dogs that need good homes, go to your local rescue and get one. I say rescue cause we only get dogs from rescues, not breeders.
Anyway it's going to take me time to heal as I am still really hurting BUT I WILL HEAL AND I WILL MOVE ON FROM THIS (I need to understand that this takes time and I need to stop rushing the process)! And when I do, I will be sure she knows it!!! The day will come I will be able to throw in her face that she made me a better person by leaving me and that she lost the best thing she ever had! I also know one day she'll regret her decision, I know her all too well and when that day comes I'll get satisfaction in being able to say "fuck off bitch"!!!
WTF was in that seawater today? Lmao!!

It sounds like Duke had a blast! When I took my dog for his first ocean visit, he keep running back when the waves came in. He was scared of the little waves. lol
All the dogs I have had are rescue. But yeh, it make sense she should take the time to go get her own dog now that you two are not together.
And you can guarantee there will be that day where the "F* you Bitch" will come hit her smack in the face and I bet, you wont have to even say those words. Just living your life after a split and coming out on top is the biggest finger you can give to someone like her.
Have a great rest of the weekend.
Oh and yeh... LETS GO HAWKS! :)
sorry about your Rangers.
I don't even know who I am. I am his wife (we are separated but still not divorced) . . but who else am I? I don't have the energy to start finding out.
Maybe this is not comforting, but at least you know you are not alone.
