Christ, 4 years....mostly ONE time dates that ended with dinner and me saying, "Yeah...so, um...gotta go"..
I think Blind assumes all these "dates" include sex.
When I mentioned I met this guy I'm currently seeing, through a friend, and was excited, his reply was, "No sex on the first date."
Blind already has me pegged as a whore evidently lol
And don't get me started on how mad he was when I said my dog dying was harder for me then dealing with the affair my former H had five years ago.
Neither did I, although I understand where you got confused. It was where I used the word 'former".
To be clear, I simply am pointing out that it's YOUR fault that you had sex with someone.....no matter what you expected their intentions to be. This is a simple fact of life.....something that Daddy's tell their teen girls.
AT WHAT POINT DID I SAY I HAD SEX WITH ANYONE?
Was that loud and clear enough for you?
Christ Almighty.
OK, boo...here's YOUR problem. Your wifey screwed around, got a little something from someone besides you, and I think now you have a low opinion of women. You seem to have a real issue with dating, as you conveniently pop up when someone has something to say on the topic.
My daddy (and I RESENT you trying to bring up MY father) did goddam well teaching his daughter.
Did your father in law do the same?
"you would be amazed at how "nice" and "sweet" people look...and then it's all sex, sex, sex"
No need to yell, I read the above.....and I fully interpret it as a general statement....and not necessarily your experience.
However, due to the fact that it's quite childlike advise.....I thought you might have an ax to grind.
Seriously, what adult doesn't know this?
That's what you said. You even capitalized YOUR...so, what about that general statement?
It's interesting, considering your situation, that these posts trigger you.
Interesting, indeed.
You were discussing how men lie to get sex basically.
I was saying....duh.....it's not his fault that YOU or ANYONE had sex with him. This is grade school stuff....c'mon TTMI.
Peace.
We need to remember that everything is all about perception and that everyone perceives things in their own way based upon their experiences.
TTMI I know what you mean by people seeming to just want sex and that is why they are on those sites, maybe not everyone is on there for that reason but it sure does feel that way. I tried the sites before but I just can't do it anymore, people never seem to be who they portray they are, I think they like to put on their profiles who they would like to be, or how they think they are, but in the end, its not that way.....again, its all individual perception!
To whipple and seashell: Thanks guys :)
To the people who messaged me with support: You know I love you guys.
I don't come here to turn a support group into a zoo so, again, sorry about that.
I put him on ignore...it's all good :)
The fish site is scary. One needs to be solid in their mindset to visit there, as it IS a meat market.
If we project neediness, a fixer and future codependent will be drawn to us.
We tend to want people to make us feel better/complete. How can we add value to someone else's life?
doornob, your requirement list is very small.....(must have kids and religious). There are some religious people with kids that have various unacceptable issues....something you likely don't want.
If you fine tune that list, perhaps you can employ a strategy to meet your future mate.
