If you're new here, on Daily Strength (DS), then you should post your story on this thread. But, in three sentences, or less...for example...

My wife is not in love with me anymore, but she is willing to have me support her ass, yet not be a wife...so I came to DS for advice...It sucks when you love someone who isn't in love with you anymore, but it gets better with time...

Now it's your turn...it is an exercise for the people who want to join this support group...

Thanks to the wise ones for teaching me this exercise...

I'm sorry Rman, cranky & rude were too harsh. I really didn't mean it in a bad way, really. I think sometimes you push the envelope and say things that I for one would be too chicken to say. But I love your feistiness, directness & humor. And I just get the feeling that you're alot sweeter than you let on sometimes.

I meant no offense I was really trying to say something nice. Guess it was a bit twisted.

Met him when I was 16. Dated 5 years. Married 22 years. He's a lying cheating porn consuming alcoholic Asswipe so I divorced him. My life has improved 100 fold in just 11 short months. I'm looking forward to the rest of my life.

Not new on DS since 2009 - but lurk on this board mostly.

Married 19 years, husband had 2 affairs. We grew further apart and he had no committment to any counseling. I filed after the 2nd affair, he moved 1500 miles to OW and has selected not to see kids - almost a year now. Divorced now and feeling much better!

Never believed in divorced but went threw it twice.... raising 3 kids on my own.... financially destroyed... physically weakened...realizing my own mortality.

Married for 20 and divorced after his year long affair to the OW we call Spam, meaning 'imitation meat' and am now dating a great guy who makes me very happy and makes my kids very happy and I am a grandma too!

I think I'm still relatively new....(Nice thread btw)

My stbx finally realized that I'm not what he wants and he's not what I need. I need stability, security and someone who truly loves me. He wants a robot who dresses nicely and thinks everything he does and says is golden, no matter how ridiculous or mean it is.

I should've filied for D sooner.. I hung on to hopes that she would end her relationship with my BF of 10+ yrs. Lived with the feeling of not being enough for too long. Hurt my self esteem... so far standing up for myself and filing on her has changed that. Now I fear her trying to use our daughter as leverage to help her financially struggling lazy self... I pray she grows up one day and understands the poor example of a parent and a person that she has made of herself to our daughter.
