If you're new here, on Daily Strength (DS), then you should post your story on this thread. But, in three sentences, or less...for example...

My wife is not in love with me anymore, but she is willing to have me support her ass, yet not be a wife...so I came to DS for advice...It sucks when you love someone who isn't in love with you anymore, but it gets better with time...

Now it's your turn...it is an exercise for the people who want to join this support group...

Thanks to the wise ones for teaching me this exercise...

As a bright shining example...

My stbx decided to stop having sex with me. I put up with his shit about 3 1/2 years longer than I should have. I found out he was a cross dresser. Our divorce should be final soon

Okay...

My stbx & I stayed together about 15 yrs longer than we should have. I just filed and I'm a nervous wreck about how this will all turn out financially. He'll happily go through mediation - so I'm secretly hiring my own lawyer to advise me on what's fair financially - even though I can't afford it. Hopefully final in Jan.

I'm losing my husband of 16 years...in fact he's moving out today. He says he was never "in love" with me, but I know that's a lie. He found his "soul mate" in an old high school flame - and threw me out like an old shoe. We have a daughter who is terrified of not seeing her dad every day.

I'm still kind of new, I guess, so here goes.

My husband is a drug addict and quit using for me before we got married. He stayed clean and sober for two years, but two years ago started using again. Now he says that I don't love him for who he really is and if I can't accept what he wants to do with his life, then we can't be together.

I know it's a fourth sentence, but he was verbally abusive sometimes - mostly when he was out of pot or I wouldn't give him money.

Boyfriend of 4 years up and left me with no reason as to why. He is a recovering alcoholic. I was with him drunk and sober. my guess is he found a greener pasture
