It is Dating!!!!!! It is crazy out there. Seriously people, the dating world is just plain crazy. The people who you think may be nice turn out to be jerks, people who you think are interested in you aren't interested, people who you aren't interest in are interested in you, and so on and so on!

I don't know how long you've been broken up, but I'd forget dating for awhile until you are sure of yourself and won't make the same mistakes.

Ideally, I would like to meet someone very naturally and become friends first and then have it move into a deeper relationship if it seems right. Dating kind of implies romance from the start- which obviously did not work in my marriage- so I would like to try friends first if possible... but still not sure where to meet people.

So much fun I'm missing out on.

I think I'll go have a root cannal, or just go back to studying. I almost Wish I had a final or something fun to do.

I have been dating for a while now. I am ready for what comes along, if it ever does come.

I have started dating again. Just one guy. We've had about 10 dates now, I think. He's met my mom and his son has stayed the night with mine (he hasn't yet, though!). He is wonderful in every way. Except, he seems to have too much of a life. I don't feel comfortable calling him and asking to see him, because he is always so busy, so we pretty much meet on his time. He does call every day, and we have seen each other plenty, but... I hate this feeling that I'm just one more thing on his calendar.
I guess what I'm saying is, even though I've found a really great guy on my first try, dating still sucks. I love that he has such a great life but, well, I don't, but I can't let him know that, right?

I think I'm just going to go get that dog I've had my eye on. That sounds like an easier commitment and I know the dog will care about the one that feeds him/her!!

Heave..go into dating with an open mind. Seriously. Don't go into it thinking that you are going to meet your soulmate on the first date. Even if the chick is not what you want, have some fun. You would probably have a much better time.

I went into it telling myself that I just needed someone to have fun with. It keeps me busy. If things work out GREAT. If they don't...well...then they don't. Been working great so far. ;)
