I agree. It sucks. When he cheated on me 2 years in it was with a married woman. Her husband was tracking her texts and forward them to me. I took him back because I believed him when he said it was a one time thing and he didn't want to lose me. I was blind to all the crap he did to me because I loved him. Why are some people like that? I was nothing but faithful and stood by him through it all. And then he still does this.

positive karma, relationships that quick after a relationship usually fail, at which time he will have to come to grips with what he did to bring him where he's at.

Been there too, gave him 3 chances. He blew every one of them. I feel like a fool too. I was nothing but someone to take care of him. I know how you feel.

It helps to know people are out there that know how you feel. Sucks that it happens to so many people though. I know now I need to live for me, though.

Remember the best revenge is to live your BEST life....My ex had been dating women off/on for 3 months before I saw the texts between him and his last (psyhco....and no this is not me being pissed off...she literally was psycho...I have the restraining order to prove it) how they both loved each other and called each other hon/babe/baby....which in our entire 19 years he never said to me. He told me he didn't know how he could love both of us. I took me out of the equation and started improving myself, going to gym, losing weight, wearing makeup, dressing up to accentuate my body. I knew the change was working when he started complimenting me and noticed when other guys started noticing too. Trust is the hardest thing to get over, I still don't think I can. But I do have hope as I met someone that for some odd reason I trust...but it isn't a close relationship...just a surface relationship. At least it gives me a chance to build up myself esteem without putting my heart into it. The ex is on his second girlfriend and he doesn't think it will last either....ha ha...I won. Good luck.

I'm definitely going to work on improving myself. I doubt he will care about the changes or notice them though. He already told me that he hates me now for how I have been. Part of me really hopes he gets what's coming to him and that it won't work out for him and this new girl or any girl he ends up with, but he other part worries he will get everything he always wanted while I'm here picking up all the pieces.

Unfortunately it's best to see the "bad sides" even though we believed and trusted them with everything.
Remember to put yourself first and do what's best for you.
Also-like others have said this relationship won't last of he continues his bad ways. Just because it's someone "new" doesn't mean he can change overnight. I'm going through this myself, too.

I did try. He told me he was unhappy and I did everything I could to try and fix it. But he didn't want to and kept pushing me away and telling me it was pointless. He started posting love songs on instagram and pics as if he was trying to impress someone. I knew something was up. I just had this gut feeling, and that's why I said I was done trying to fix it and finally ended it. This is what he does and he has done with the other 2 before me, only I lasted the longest. He finds someone else and moves on and then totally forgets about the previous one. I was stupid to think I would be any different or the one to change him.

it sounds as though he craves the pursuit and when someone pursues him he distances himself and looks for someone to pursue.oddly enough when someone distances themselves often the distancer becomes the pursuer. its the foundation of the 180 method

I agree that probably the best revenge is to walk away and improve yourself. However, it does not give you that much of relief.
When we are played of, decieved or being manipulateed..we want to pay back. Normal human reaction to the hurt. I think in most situations people can not recover fast because they just have no option or chance to get a fair revenge.
