I don't miss his whining and when I offer to help, him having some excuse for me to not help. I do not miss him being resentful that I do not understand his job and getting irritated when I ask for him to explain it to me. One of his reason's for enjoying his relationship with the OW was because she understood the working world.

I miss nothing about my ex....I simply don't miss him...not one bit!

I don't miss the toilet seat being left open.

I don't miss hearing his pager go off while having sex, during dinner, while sleep, during you name it.

I don't miss the lieing, cheating, hitting, screaming, destroying the furniture, the drinking, the farting, the belching, the taking up the whole bed, then accusing me of keeping him awake all night, the being timed going to the grocery store, not being allowed to see my family and having to spend every weekend with his family, the bitch he calls his mother, the wimp he calls his father, his craggy old grandmother... I don't miss him or his family at all!

I was thinking of this post and have more to add to my list .... like so many others here, I don't miss his lies ... he lied so often I think he believed his own lies ... I don't miss having money being missing from my wallet, I never carried cash because if I did sure enough it'd be missing, of coruse he never took it ... I don't miss every other word out of his mouth being the "f" word ... I don't miss his toxic family, or my own mother making excuses for his behavior .... she'd tell me over and over that it's his diabetes, that he's a sick man .. I don't miss the mind-games, or the manipulation ...

I don't miss staying home and wondering where she was at 2, 3 or 4 am.....now I know where she was, and he's now living w/her, lol

Don't miss the anxiety that would start an hour before he got home because I never knew what type of emotional/verbal abuse I was in for and what inconsequential event would set it off.

Don't miss his smoking and smelling like an ashtray.

Don't miss his spendthrift ways--I have more money and less debt since he left and that's even after paying the attorney's retainer!

Don't miss his never asking me about my day but having to sit and listen to him talk non-stop for hours about his day, his life, his work, his friends, his hobbies, ad nauseum.

Don't miss his criticism and condenscending attitude.

Don't miss his cracks about my weight.

Don't miss the lack of sex--he said I had a lack of intimacy but gee, he never wanted it.

So many things I don't miss. Believe me, the longer I'm alone, the more I like it.

I don't miss the sick feeling I would get in my stomach as I pressed the button on my garage door opener, cause I knew he was home and I had to walk past him coming in from the garage.

I don't miss practicing in the car how what to say so I could avoid and argument and quickly escape up to my room.

I don't miss his interfering with me and my daughter's relationship by confusing her into thinking it was him or me.

I don't miss him "forgetting" what happened the night before once he had sobered up.

I don't miss that stupid giggle that he would get when he was really drunk.

I don't miss the constant fight over all the stuff he bought -- even though for a long time we COULD afford it.

I don't miss having to pretend I liked him when he asked me if I hated him. I just could never bear to hurt anyone, even though he didn't mind hurting me.

I don't miss the birthday event when he was arrested for hitting me, while we were in the car, driving on the highway, with our children in the back seat.

I don't miss thinking "how can I make him happy, so he in turn would be happy and then our family would be happy"

I don't miss having to do the yard work while he video taped me from the deck and thought it was funny that I was slit seeding the lawn instead of him.

OMG, I didn't realize how many things I don't miss! There are so many more, but I don't want to take up any more space! LOL
