I haven’t posted in a while as things seemed good, up until I found out my girlfriend had still been texting the guy she had cheated with, they were texts that didn’t have much substance. I read her the riot act and she seemed complicit that it’s not a bad thing to just talk to the guy if she has no future intentions with him. I felt hurt and betrayed not only that she hid it from me but she sees nothing wrong with it. She recently blocked him on text, Snapchat, but I found her following him on IG, she says it’s nothjng but obviously it’s not nothing, no matter how much she says it is. I feel betrayed and cheated on yet again, and she refused to just cut ties with the guy, I’ve given her so many chances to change and to not do this but nothing has changed. I threatened breaking up today and now she says “yeah I did you wrong and I hurt you and it’s not fair to you and I don’t deserve any more chances so it’s okay the relationship is over.

I think your "girlfriend" has repeatedly shown you over the last several months that she really isn't interested in a real relationship with you.

You have given her chance after chance to "change" and nothing has changed. You can't make her "change". If she doesn't want to change, she isn't going to make the necessary changes.

She doesn't respect you; she doesn't value you.

I hope you don't spend very much more time in this dead-end relationship...

Well if she doesn’t value the relationship n respect it’s time to let go although I know it sucks n not easy!! She’s not respecting your wishes that you’d prefer her not taking or texting this guy so it actually is a big deal it’s not nothing. I hope with time you will find someone who will be better for you

Stick to people who have your Same mentality of monogamy... some people just don’t and will never understand that concept!

If you've got a lick of sense you're going to drop her like a bad habit you shouldn't even have to ask her to quit talking to this guy if she really is wanting to change and wanting to be with you and not betray you again she would have never started talking to him but she still talking to him and lying to you about it and then refusing cut him off so you need to cut her off because she doesn't care about you. she wants to hurt you she enjoys it because you keep staying, therefore you're not respecting yourself and she has no respect for you either. If you keep doing what you've always done you're going to keep getting what you've always got. keep putting up with her lies and she's going to keep lying. walk away now before she hurts you so deep that you cannot ever be in a relationship again without being paranoid and questioning their every move and eventually pushing probably a good person away. Got to remember that you're better than this, you deserve better than this, and raise your standards in what you expect and how you expect to be treated and move on

It’s hard to let go. Don’t blame yourself, and find strength to move on. It’s hard, very hard but you matter and you need to find your friends, family, and supporters to help you heal. Keep trying everyday. No contact is best. Hang in there.
