Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I haven't taken anything for the divorce but when I had massive anxiety/panic when my thyroid was wrecking me ativan was the one that worked best (for me).
klonopin, xanax, clonazepam (sp?), valium they all fill that short starting short lasting thing you're looking for. I would just say these are VERY temporary fixes. Use them only if you're getting help from a therapist to fix the underlying issues at the same time and NEVER for prolonged periods.
In the end what worked best for me was weloft (welbutrin + zoloft) in small doses. There is a ramp up time which sucked but it didn't have any of the horrible addictive stuff all of the benzos come with.
The stuff you're talking about works great short term. Use it until the longer lasting stuff can take hold and the side effects wear off.
Find a practitioner that specializes in medicine and medical interactions with the body and find something that works for you with as little side effects as possible.
Write out a timeline. Identify the tasks. Write them all down, and see them in order of 'when do I have to deal with this?'
It's the only way to quell the panic and make sure everything is dealt with. Drugging yourself won't help. You have to get this right, not just drug yourself and not care if you screw up.
Klonopin for sleep and panic attacks. !I was trying Zoloft for a while but it was hell. I've tried to do this without meds and it got to be too much and I was having 5 panic attacks a day. I'm being very careful with the
Klonopin breaking pills in halfs and fourths when I feel I need it.. I'm trying to get out and meet new people but the will to exercise and find new hobbies is hard to muster up. I am going to several counselors and went to a hypnotherapist yesterday to try to deal with the self blame and anxiety with I have always battled
But this separation has put me over the top. I promise I will be careful on the meds
Thank you all
