If both of you are on the deed, then yes, you both have a right tothe house. Unfortunately, at least in NC, if you are the only one on the mortgage, guess what? You are the ony one responsible to pay for it.
On a side note, I continue to be very happy I am one of the only people on earth who does not have Facebook. I can't keep up with statuses, or walls, or whatever else people post to that gets everyone else pissed. The best I can tell you is to stop looking at her account.

I am from the Uk so I have know idea of US laws. I agree with all the posts. Over here there are many charities that can help and they do have legal aid which pays legal fees in a limited number of situations, do the US have anything like this. I agree knowledge is power the internet is a great resource to find out about laws, organisations that can help and general advice. If your ex pressurises you to sign anything tell him that unless you see a lawyer you won't be signing anything. He may put his hand in his pocket! Good luck and big hugs.
