The thing is, we really have no choice but to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and push forward. Once we do and are in a better place and can look back from a different vantage point, we usually see that had X not happened then Y wouldn't have happened which means I wouldn't be standing here at Z.... and damn, Z's a pretty great place to be!
It's all a cycle and each time, if we're lucky and aware, we learn and grow. I know it sucks right now and for that I really am sorry and feel your pain - but have faith that the tide WILL change. This, too, shall pass.
Life builds up and tears down and then starts over again. It's all about entropy. :-)
but now, i'm trying to accept it all as lessons that will make me stronger.
altho have to admit after all this what the hell is ahead of me if i'm suppose to learn lessons from this..
ESPECIALLY true with the times today with so many out of work and the economy being so bad.

Acceptance of the unacceptable is the greatest source of grace in this world.
It's scary to know that simply answering "ok" to a friends suggestion to go to the lake one Saturday afternoon in 1980 could set off a chain of events that ended up defining my dreary life.
