Well, I just got done grabbing a piece of looseleaf paper, a pen and putting my thoughts down on paper...to my "wife."
I put it all out there tonight. I told her that I can't take the anger anymore, as it has affected our kids to much. I wrote two pages...front and back...
I'm done with the bullshit. She is a bitter, pissed off 36 year old woman. She is a wonderful mother, but not a wonderful wife...
I am a wonderful husband and the most awesome, cool and perfect human being in the whole world...I am perfect...yeah dog...
see how i try to throw in humor at the end to divert attention to my real feelings...i always do that shit...

Dam rman. I do the same thing.
Always quick to laugh and not say what I really want. Its a self defense mechanism that worked when I was a kid. But not so good as a adult.

writing a letter is so cathartic, even if you don't give it to her. It helps to clarify things in your mind.

I use humor also. It is my defense mechanism. It is good to write things out for clarity. I hope that you can find the answers you are looking for. Hugs to you..You are pretty awesome.

It was hard when i gave up that life. I dont know how I did it. But when I left I got so much more than just having her gone. I thought I was trapped . I worked for her parents. Still do. My life came around and now it is better than I could have dreamed. Thought I would rather die than make this change. but hey ... My experience was good.

I love that you took the time to Vent!! It's SO good for you! I see too many men penting up their feelings..and this is a great release for you. I hope you use it as a tool in the future.

PS: It's possible that some of what you wrote needs to be said eye to eye. Consider it - but not when you're angry *wink
