I loved art in almost any form. creating it, viewing it, talking about it.
I loved working with my hands - being creative.
I loved reading a good book.
I loved gardening and outside work around the house.
Now my days are spent only doing the necessities of life. Working and doing house repairs (not fun remodels)
As much as I want to do the things I had such a passion for my whole life, I don't know if I ever will again. The actual desire to do those things seems to have been sucked out of my body.
I know what you mean, by not going out.
I didn't do much of anything, outside of work the first month and a half after I helped her move out.
But about 4 weeks ago went out with a friend of mine and his GF for a fundraiser dinner. It was very uplifting!!
I felt so great I couldn't believe it.
It made me feel good for days.
Ever since then I have been going out once a week for dinners and such with my friends. They all know where I am at in life right now, and they are all supportive.
Make the first step, get out there and do something.
I lost a ton of my self esteem because of her and how she treated me, last Friday night went to a little bar around the corner from my house to see my buddies band play.
Found out, I still have what it takes, just have to realize it and enjoy it.
Yeah I like pizza. Eat it at least once a week.
Hang in there Rman
Z...wrong answer...It was full of my pee-pee...
I have a pee-pee...
Last Saturday I went to a party and we didn't leave the party until 3:30 a.m! We danced and laughed and we made a vow to get together at each different home once a month. I took poor mavs and she danced her adorable freckles off. We should be done pasting them back on by this next weekend during a road trip.
Yes, one day at a time....
One of my new ventures will be taking sewing classes. My mother is a certified designer and worked with some high level designers and had her own boutique and yet, she never taught my sister and I how to sew. Sigh....
I want to visit my country of birth.
I want to get healthy again.
I need a beginning....
