I have been really fighting with myself to try to keep me from doing stupid stuff, but I am so good at doing that. Here is the situation and let me know what you think:
I own my truck. It is a F350 Ford Diesel. Yes, I am paying out the nose for fuel but I really like the truck and I couldn't imagine not having a truck.
I own my boat, outright, and my finances are okay, other than the credit card debt that my ex left me with (I am working on getting a personal loan to pay them off).
I am doing really well and I have about $700 left after bills etc, to live on. That is just the food/gas/entertainment budget. That isn't bad for one person.
Being that Diesel fluctuates and is usually a $1 a gallon than gas (although my truck gets 25 mph) I have been kicking around buying another vehicle to drive around in when I am just messing around locally. I have always wanted a Jeep Wrangler to play with.
I could probably get a Jeep Wrangler that was used and keep the payments to about $140 a month. Not sure what it would do to insurance but I don't think that it would increase it that much more.
If I get the Wrangler then I would have a budget of about $500 a month for food and gas. I think that is okay but I like having room to spare.
This vehicle would also last a long time and probably make both of my vehicles last longer (although diesels are know to outlast the body of the vehicle).
I want to get a Wrangler but I feel that it is more responsible to not get one. I don't want to get rid of the truck (hauling and other things like that make it very useful). I have been kicking this around over and over and really trying to make myself be more responsible and not spend more money but the Wrangler would be so much fun to drive in nice weather with the top down.

Sell the truck.
Take the equity pay off your loans every penny.
Finance a vehicle, an inexpensive one at 0 percent. tons of options right now.
Start saving some money.
You already have a very expensive toy your boat.
