I only know of one truly successful couple from here and they are married with children right now.
On the flip side I have seen the ones that don't work here too. That makes it tough for all involved including the bystanders.
I learned my lesson....
That person and I still keep in touch and are friends but the 'relationship' was born on a need of self validation on both our parts. In retrospect it wasn't necessarily a wise thing but I wouldn't change it. It was something I needed at the time. I think it's important to understand where the desire to date is coming from and that self realization is important. When I look back I desperately wanted to be wanted by someone after the affair in my marriage. It's a good idea to examine your motivation.
