njmel- STL has two seasons, wet and hot! LOL!! We are in the end of wet and going into hot in August. So, take your pick! LOL!! Really, best weather here is March through June.

We're either wet and cold, or hot and humid. There are a few perfect days, which we enjoy tremendously!

I would love to be there, but being from Canada, not only will I get lost. But the genuis at the passport office will probably take over 9 months to issue me one. You guys are not the only one with real genuises for politicans. Do you want the Canadian ones as well, free of charge of course.

Ok, I started this and have come up with some idea's.

I picked a date out of the air and it is October 4th weekend.

1: because the weather is really nice here then,

2: it gives us time to save and search for best price hotels

3: it gives any long distance DSers to figure if they can or not.

4: its off-season, so prices are good and its not too crowded

I will do ALL of the leg work, since I live here.

I am already going into OC to check on one hotel someone mentioned to me.

I do know the owner of a resteraunt, and can talk to her to see what we can come up with for a nights dinner...

I think if we do a Friday night through checkout Sunday would be good. Breakfast one of those mornings would be great and dinner one of those nights.

There is an airport in OC and there is BWI airport. Which is my place of employment (sorry, no discounts). Some of us could caravan from BWI if needed.

Oh yeah, I don't kareoke (sp?) but I Will watch and get upset when someone gets the words wrong. And I will scream "FREEBIRD".....I don't know why.
