i agree i had to unfriend anyone associated with him bc i couldn't stand the updates. it is just scratching a wound..

I'm on a need to know basis about most things.... somethings...like about my EX... I really don't want to know...don't need to know... a waste of my time and energy.

I've blocked him from the day he requested I be his Friend...lol!

My kids are on FB, I monitor them.....he requested to be their Friend too and they asked me to blocked him.

Facebook is the devil. Found out on Christmas day, via fb, that he has joined a dating site. It is awful!

i so totally agree thats just how my marraige has ended due to my daughter in law posting things on facebook. Who would have thought a computer program would end a marriage of 23 yrs. go figure now what to do??????????????

My EX recently told my friend I hacked into her facebook to spy on him.
1. I don't care about him
2. I have no idea how to hack anything

he's delusional and must think I care about him hahahahahahahaha

curiosity gets me every time. I also get bored and go searching for stupid stuff. I regret this decision every single time I do it. My ex is married now and I hate hearing that they are even more in love these days. Of course they would never post anything negative just like I wouldn't post anything negative. I wouldn't want him to know those things. I am, however upset that he has pictures of our child on his page when he doesn't even support or see him. Maybe I should learn how to hack into someones account. LOL J/k I wouldn't do that.

I agree...facebook sucks... it has caused alot of trouble for my marriage..both on my part.. and hers.. it certainly wasnt the mai cause of our marraige failing.. but it sure didnt help either

I really wish I could stop myself looking at her Facebook page. I've considered un-friending her (and all her family), but just can't bring myself to do it. I find myself wanting to know what she's up to. Her new boyfriend is one of her friends and I find myself going to his page too. It's been many months, but I still can't stop myself......

I found out on Christmas day that he changed his profile pic on facebook to include his new girlfriend. I was devastated of all days to change it.They looked so happy and she looks 10 years younger than him. It sucks to see he has moved on as if I never was. I decided at that point to take a break from social networks. So I deleted Myspace and deactivated facebook for now until I am stronger and dont care what he does.Which could be awhile.

Unfriend them and then change your privacy settings so that only Friends can see your stuff. Or you could be devious and play with them: you know post pics of your new girl or guy (grab them off of some Model site), post how great life is without your ex, post lies and fantasies... you know what I mean. Have some fun with them...

My STBX isnt really a Facebook type so it took me a while to finally unfriend her since she wasnt very active. I made the mistake of peeking at her page last week though and just seeing her picture, with her looking so pretty set me down a road of pain. I unfriended her and changed my status to Single.

But I agree Facebook is hell for lost relationships and deaths. I still get suggestions to catch up with one of my best friends who died suddenly in February. Yes F*cking Facebook I do want to talk with him but I CANT because he is DEAD!

To all who have replied: Those of you who "can't" stop looking - I understand - it was like an obsession. I REALLY hope you can stop because I know it will help. It was a daily dose of "hurt" each time I looked - even if nothing new, just being in his facebook page. I too found a pic of him and his new girlfriend and that was it - it made me sick and I decided then, no more. So far, so good. Just wanted you all to know I understand that "obsession" - and pray it will go away for you. It is awful.....
