I would have been happy had my husband just gotten a job, doesn't matter how much he makes, as long as he brought home a paycheck and contributed. It's everyone chipping in to make a marriage work.
If one brings and the other doesn't it makes you feel as if they don't think your important enough to go out and work hard for your family.
So, financial issues, can be worked on. Either get a job or stop spending over your means. LOL! Wait i forgot this is America.

I wish I could think like that! LOL!

My ex thought cheating and setting up a new life with the world's biggest fertilizer salesman was her ticket to financial bliss. Of course it turns out the finances thing was just one of many justifications used instead of just saying "I'm banging someone else. Several someone else's actually."
that guy was one lucky bastard... his loss!!
He wanted the big screen tv, my outlook was that we had a tv, I'd rather take the kids away for the weekend.
It created resentment because I spent our "extra" money on choreography for my daughter, or silliness with our son and he wanted to impress the world.
I still don't care much about stuff and pour bags of money on my kids. Makes me happy.
