If not cut your loses and get out now.
How long have you known him? How long have you been living together? Do you know his family or ex wives?
You're daughter is just 6. That's scary to me as well...
I am concerned for you. The fact that he cheated on two previous wives is a huge red flag. The fact that he is talking to other women not two weeks into a marriage is another huge red flag.
I am sorry but some things just do not work out, and they are not worth putting many years of effort into. I tried that for 19 years, and I am divorced again at my age.
I would definitely get into counseling, hopefully with him, but if not for you, so that you can fully decide what to do in your life.
Please don't beat yourself up about seeing his cell phone. If he was not hiding anything, he would not be so defensive.
I am old fashioned but I feel a married guy his age, shouldn't be receiving pic texts of anyone, much less a minor..
That could be signs of something greater in his life..
You have my deepest concern . Stay with us here, and please let us know how you are doing .. Big healing hugs, Kimmee
Take care - Hugs.
He has major problems going on and it is early enough for you to cut the ties off. Your daughter shouldn't be a part of this man's life.
Please be kind to yourself. I've made a huge mistake also which really changed my middle son psyche. I'm still working to help my son to not feel like a loser. His step-father, my current ex, had torn his self-esteem down to nothing like he did mine. I should have left after I started seeing the 'red flags' but, I felt tired, old and I did not want the stigma of another marriage failing. Selling your self short because of these poor reasons, have a heavier price at the end and it branches out to your children.
Leave.
Furthermore, and this is just me, but I would abide someone with such a flippant attitude about minding my young child. Even if he was simply joking, I don't joke about the welfare of my son. Ever.
I strongly concur with Reply #1 here.....
Take care and good luck!
It sounds like he has a real problem. He would not be getting angry at you if he was not trying to hide something. Trust me, I have been there. People who are doing things they know are wrong try to justify it to themselves & being defensive is a good sign that is what he is doing.
How long have you been with him before you were married?
