Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
While it would be lovely to find the RIGHT person as a companion for the rest of my life, I do not NEED a man. No- so not lying to myself.
That's the kind of thinking you exhibit in your posts consistently that is just plain insulting and detrimental to every woman here.
I took a huge financial hit getting divorced, as many do, and have been working hard to put my life back to "stable", emotionally as well as financially.
If someone tells me "I can't afford to divorce"... I'm not interested.
I'm just not getting involved with someone with a boatload of financial and emotional baggage
I suppose for those looking for a fling to just alleviate loneliness or boredom it wouldn't matter, but that's not what I'm looking for.
Jab27, its now May so maybe you can plan to move without him when the lease/rent is up? I'm not sure how you will be able to get him out otherwise.
of course my posts are irritating to you. You want to dominate with your ideas and believes...which are indeed irritating to me .
53..and you have more men bothering me than women half my age. Really? Depend what kind of men actually. And, if this is a truth..well I understand you are so sure you have time to heal, to recover and then start dating...Good Luck!
"That's the kind of thinking you exhibit in your posts consistently that is just plain insulting and detrimental to every woman here."
Do not speak for all there. Not everyone on this board has guts to oppose your critical opinions, harsh statements and attacks you launch on anyone you disagree with.
You misread and twist the meaning of almost everything I say.
My post are not "insulting and detrimental". You are oversensitive and self centered person who can not tolerate views that do not fit with the range of your believes. This is a public forum, people have different opinions. Why you take it so seriously and personally?
I just think that your life philosophy will lead you nowhere.
You apparently haven't noticed the only person thinking like you is .... YOU.
You are basically the epitome of everything most of us do not want to be, and just an ounce of good judgement would tell you that with all the pain and suffering on this board due to marital infidelity an opinion suggesting marital vows are not to be respected or ignored when convenient would not be very popular.
Now I let your first reply go, but you felt the need to continue on.
I hope this can be the end of this, as you and I will never see eye to eye, which frankly is a relief to me. At least in my pain I haven't sunk THAT low.
you did not "sunk that low"...me ether? You did go that low by insulting me...this is the difference. I never dated , flirted or slept with a married man, even when I was single. I never advocated for free dating with married people. My message is about absolutely different thing, which you fail to comprehend.
I guess this forum is the only place on earth where you are heard and may be respected by some. This is why you are so angry and oversensitive when someone expresses different opinion.
As I said before you twist and misrepresent all I've said. And, then blame me for being immoral.
I do not care what you think. We both have the same rights on this forum. But, your ego makes you believe you have some entitlement and superiority in this group..which you don't. You are just a user, not the smartest one.
It's fine to date once you have separated but its not considered acceptable, especially right at first.
I suggest just socializing with friends and relatives.
