Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
"Employed female looking for company to share ice cream, coffee on Sunday afternoon and a good laugh."
Too much? too little? Would this small and direct sentence attract someone who is not looking for "princess, queen, nice, etc"?
C'mon, help me out here, ok? :) :)
One vote for yes! Anyone else agrees?
I am comfortable enough in my own skin, at least for now, to try to find someone organically - through volunteering somewhere that I enjoy, meetups, through friends or just randomly when I am out and about. Because then, at least I will see them - get a vibe from them and know if they are worth my time. For me, seeing someone in person and feeling their vibe - if they are negative or positive, etc. helps cut out the mystery of getting all excited over a profile that is just a bunch of words anyway. I can get more of the essence of a person face to face than I can on a profile, and vise versa. If it doesnt happen naturally, then thats fine. I will never seek someone out again - I want to be sought out. And being online - that takes away that component too - its an energy drainer for me.
