I used to come here every single day ten years ago. And it was the very best place I could have been. A lot is different now. But still I looked for my friend again. I have had alot of stuff change. I am comfortable here.

Me too. I've been divorced now about 11 years. This site really helped me thru a difficult divorce. DS was much better than it is now. I check in from time to time to see if it's any better. I miss what DS used to be.

I have heard that it used to be more lively. At times it seems no one is on.

The loss of the chat function, has been a real kicker for me, I was a member about 10 years ago, thought I had MS, turned out to be something else, a lot of people have dis appeared since, and yes it was a lot livlier then, sometimes too lively.....

Wow I didnt know ds had been around that long chat with them asking to have back. I know if it hadn't been for funding this site I don't think I would have made it through my divorce not with any kind of sanity intact

I was on Daily Strength 10 years ago but it was for the quitting smoking group... and I am smoke free and have been for 10 years so now I am back.... but on this site Married still but don't now for how long.? its all so sad... as everyone else probably can and would say,,,,, we were there,,, we were that couple and everthing is crushing .... I just don't have money to leave or end it... so... and I so love what we HAD..... not sure if we are a train wreck due to menopause and him maybe being mid life crisis........ hmm>??? I hope everyone has a good day and makes the best decisions for themselves

I was on here 10 years ago as well. I thought the chats and strings of comments were so much better. It was a life saver for me. It kept me sane as I traversed the mucky waters of a contentious divorce. There was so much more activity. You were not alone, ever. I'm not sure how to use this now? I'm back on here due to a terrible break up with my boyfriend of 6 years. Is there an app for your phone with this website (breakups and divorce). Good Lord, I hope I can get this right. I'd like to someday find a good guy who isn't a cheat or abusive. I did my best after my divorce. In the end, I chose wrong.

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...
