You will make it! Be proud of your accomplisments as I read many here. Hold your head up high because you've done things for the community that I've never done.
Walk tall, walk with Faith and live out your life free of someone who is not worthy of spreading God's word.
2nd wife...as I finished my Masters Degree, her dream was to finish college but barely knew english, and couldn't get into school in her area...wrote her entrance letter, tutored her, helped her take exams (online courses), SHE...took me for all I had...and now she is a Director of Accounting for a major university in the Southeast...
I have come to terms with all of that...I was THEIR major contributor whether they want to believe it or not, and that was just who I am, and a blessing that god put's that love and giving in my heart, so *hugs* and remember that for yourself :)
And a competent lawyer could not make the case that you were entitled to the assets your ex husband enjoys?
Wow.
Really wish I had something substantive to say here, but this just feels like justice wasn't done at all. Have you considered consulting with another attorney about this?
Your story isn't an exception. It just adds to the piles of stories from people who did everything above the board and still got left holding the bag. And whats worse is the bag has garbage in it. As a fellow Chistian I know that there is a big plan in all this for you. You don't see it yet, but it will be revealed in time.
You live with your children? Maybe that's were you are needed. You will be in my prayers.
It sucks girlie but you can do it. Age is just a number. The economey sucks but you have alot you can put on your resume.
Never depend on a man always depend upon yourself.
office since it's inception, much to my chagrin. Concerning it being a business and Arizona being a community property state, I was entitled to half of the churches assets. The problem for me was I couldn't bring myself to go for those assets. I felt my issue was with him. I never thought that the courts would rule on issues other than the facts. Attorneys have advised me that an appeal is possible based on my husband perjuring himself on the stand but since I've has my day in court, it may not change the outcome. I think the hardest thing for me in all this is the retirement years that are now robbed from me to spent with my children and grandchildren. After all, love of family and time spent with them is priceless. His loss for sure Thanks for the encouragement from all of you. God bless..
Take good care of yourself.
I think irreconciable differences is the stupidest excuse for a divorce. :(
Glad to hear that your family can help you out during this time. I'll pray that God will provide you a job, and a sense of peace as you walk forward.
