Seriously. I am just defeated at this point. I have tried this whole dating thing and it sucks...really really sucks.
Either I am attracted to them but they aren't attracted to me or they are attracted to me and I am not attracted to them. Then there is always that lame ass excuse that people come up with when they don't want to hang out again. Seriously people, just be friggin' honest, it is so much easier in the end.
Yes, I am really fustrated. I posted in another thread that my last prospect that I had that seemed really interesting is not interested in me because I got the big blow off yesterday. She is just too busy to hang out.
If anyone is familiar, this was the girl that had lived on a sailboat and said that she would like to sail around the world. Guess that dream isn't a big priority because I have the skills, knowledge, and know-how to do that kind of thing (not to mention a good cruising boat for her to learn the ropes on, as it were).
I refuse to settle, I refuse to just take the first thing that comes along, but damn it gets lonely at times. When you are talking to yourself and no body's home it is really bad. LOL. Just kidding, but seriously, spending these large amounts of time by myself makes me realize how cool it would be to have a chick that would enjoy sharing this with me.
I have met a few older guys that are living on their boats, have no wives, few friends, and I worry that this is my future. Seriously, I fit in right now but I am 30 years younger. ACK!!!!!!!

I guess all I can say to you is, better to be alone than to spend time with someone and have them end up being the wrong person. I know that doesn't make it any easier, just keep trying different people out I guess til you find someone who makes you happy. Hell, it most likely happen when you least expect it.
This flat out sucks. Seriously.
