Oh know, AsTime I'm starting to wonder if my cat is in some sort of psychic communication with your cat.

A couple days ago I heard a noise behind me and when I turned around I found my cat high atop a box with Christmas decorations that was on the top shelf. He was peering over the side of the box, one paw busily batting at a long length of garland that he had somehow or other managed to drag out of the box (through the whole for the handhold I can only assume). With your cat's suggestion of a Christmas landscape for the voodoo doll I can see that he wasn't misbehaving at all, he was merely attempting to collect building materials!

Yes, you imagine, the litterbox Christmas landscape with the trees, the snowmen, Santa'a sleigh. And the garland of glitter goes around the outside of the litter box, never inside of it. And with the clumping litter, you get excellent rocks to use as boulders for the scenery.

My cats need to play with your cats!!!
I'm going to get my voodoo doll ready, and one of my cats is EVIL so this is right up her alley...maybe she can be the muscle for this cat community that is building!! Love this..

Oh hell. Fate really hates me. I actually looked at the paperwork when I got home and the likely court date is going to fall right in the middle of the first week we ever spent together, the week we fell in love 10 years ago. (We'd known each other about 5 years online before we ever met in person, never flirted or anything, just friends, so when we met it was a complete shock to both of us that there was more there between us.)

Hi Feeling: I post the silly stuff about the cat because I realize you are stressed and the waiting is a killer. I try to break the tension.

It seems like "knowing" you were getting the papers was the worst because it made it so fearful and anxiety filled. I'm sorry I couldn't be there with you the whole time and when you were handed them.

You're a good person and worth the best in life. Don't ever forget that and keep telling yourself that you will get through this. Many, many hugs.

If your court date is anything like mine was, it was just the first of many, and all my STBX and I did was sit in a waiting room with a bunch of other people while the lawyers met with the judge's law clerk. This has gone on almost monthly since May of 2012. One settlement conference after another. Finally scheduled for trial in February if next month's settlement conference is unproductive, which I'm guessing it will be because all the rest have been pretty useless. So buck up, because it's going to be a bumpy ride. But you'll get through it. The longer it goes on the tougher you become. Do what's right for you, and don't back down if it's not in your best interest. I'm not saying to take him to the cleaner's, but don't settle for less than you deserve because you want to appear nice. There is no nice in divorce. Good luck!
