I get moved by the beauty in most people, most days. I don't think it's something that's easily described in words. A light, some sort of soft glow. A spirit maybe. Not sure. It's something I think everyone can see in a baby, but gets harder to recognize when they're adults. It's the "real" that runs like a brook under the roles and the scripts and the improvs. Sometimes it's in their eyes, sometimes their hands, sometimes their voice.

I think a lot of things can be beautiful...I have often found it in selfless actions of other people or when someone reaches out to someone else and doesn't have to...my daughter sent me a text when she was with her dad this weekend that said "I need a mommy hug". That was beautiful to me. It was a beautiful action. Inanimate objects can be beautiful, like architecture or art, or even a vase, or a wrought iron cross, or a mirror, or antique clock.. and I find beauty in nature constantly. It's why I enjoy being outside so much. Beauty is everywhere.
