Baaaaaad breakup.

He was my first healthy realtionship after a very abusive one. He loved me so much, and in ways I felt like it was too much and pushed me away. Until that love he had for me faded, and I had to fight to get it back. He ended up pulling away emotionally, he suffers from depression...and a bad childhood and didn't want any kids. :( so we broke up in the worst way possible. He has been very angry with me...we ended up not cleaning our apartment and it cost us in an insane amount of money and he is refusing to work with me and help me pay it...or even talk to me. Only thing that comes accross is anger, and I can't understand why...I have so much pain and can't seem to move on. Its been three months and it was a three year relationship :(



why all the anger towards me? I've tried saying sorry many times for all the hurtful things I have said to him. But have recieved nothing in return from him. Only anger.

If your both please isnt he liable for half? Breaking up is always painful and we all deal differently. I am not that mean my ex was altho calmed down now. Its just Hard.

Its probably anger out of confusion. My ex did the same when he would get confused about emotional stuff he would get mad and lash out,even yell.. It may just be because he blames his self for how things went and feels helpless, he doesnt know how to react or what to do so he's closing his self off thinking it will block anymore pain and he's angry because he doesnt know what to say anymore. He's putting his own self into a self pity rut and may not even realize its hurting those around him. He may not be angry at you really, he may just be angry at his self and thinks he's the reason this all fell apart its his fault, his fault, his fault. You may need to give him time and have a friend or someone close to him suggest he get some therapy.

I think we were dating the same person. This is exactly my story. I'm so sorry and I know that doesn't help, but if it brings you any comfort, I'm right there with you. I literally told him the other day that the only emotion he is capable of is anger. I can't say anything that won't set him off.

Yeah, I'm ready for him to calm down. But I can't help to shake the feeling of missing him and it not being reciprocated. That's the hard part. How could someone go from loving me SO much, to hating me this much that he doesn't care that my credit and my rental history is being affected.
