I am a bit edgy tonight and I think I put my fingers on why.
Tonight after dinner I grab a beer out of the fridge. I just want a beer or two to sip and relax. My Dad starts making comments on it and says that I am getting fat from stuff like that and I just ate dinner.
I tell you what....Just mind your own damn business and get the HELL out of mine. Seriously, I have been over 21 for 10 years and I know all about alcohol.
Another thing, I don't need people to tell me that I am going to get fat from something. Holy SHIT!!!! No matter how much I work out my weight won't get below a certain point and it seems that my body has found this happy point where it wants to just sit. I have been active all FREAKING day and I don't sit around and drink beer while sitting on the couch, all day, and do nothing but eat potato chips. I have been moving since 7 this morning. DAMN IT!
Living with your parents sucks. Last night I got into a huge tiff with my Dad because he started the same shit with me last night. He said that I was fat. I finally looked at him and said "I am 5'11" and 235 pounds, you are 5'5" and 200 pounds. I weight 35 pounds more than you but I am 6 inches taller and a lot more muscular, isn't that the pot calling the kettle black?"
Yeah, I haven't been out working out all the time like I was a few months ago. It is summer and I am constantly doing something outside: Sailing, fishing, walking, working on things, and other things. Just because I don't have a set workout time (it is hard to do this because of my schedule) doesn't mean that I have turned into a couch potato. I will probably make more of a effort to get back into the pool and swim when the weather turns but I would rather be working out outside and enjoying the weather than going to a pool and swimming laps right now.
I hate living with my parents. I could move out but then I couldn't rebuild my savings. My savings went to nill when I was going through the divorce thing. It does beat living alone too. Now I remember why I go to my boat and stay there on my days off, no one there bothers me!!!!!!

There's no way in hell I will ever weigh 150. I am back up to 175, and I think I carry it well, cuz I work out every other day.

No bull crap there. I would like to have a 5K buffer before I move out because I have no safety net now...none at all.

I had a few things to do around the house this time and I decided not to sail out. BIG MISTAKE!!!!! Now I remember why I am never home when I am off!
If he says something like that again, you can say, "Hell, if the beer is going to make me fat, I might as well have some potato chips, too."
