They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
You sound practical and happy about the situation, and I am glad you are progressing so well in your recovery. That is such good news!
first, please forgive my bluntness but don't date women you work with. they are not worth the risk.
second, what if she gets pregnant? you will hit a wall.
listen, i am 54. you are 50. the best women for us are near our age. sure, young women are pretty and really good for our egos. but, they know how to play an old guy like us. find a damn good woman going through her menopause gig. you will find that you relate much better to her anyway.
get time on your side when it comes to dating and the possibility of love. don't waste time on side issues like young hot pants going to europe. take the time instead and use it to find a woman who has some genuine potential for heaven's sake. menopausal women are flighty as jaybirds but just roll with it. :)
again, sorry to sound blunt. it's just how i see it.
Pardon my crudeness, but you need to think with the head that's on you shoulders. ;)
If she wants something more, take it slow.
If you want something more, take it even more slow.
I think you need to find otu her intentions first. I imagine most men would tell you that you just hit the jackpot.
They dunno what they want. They're still getting their ideals on what life is supposed to be about straight, and the line between romantic partner and parent is very easily blurred.
Just don't get your hopes up too high.
Not that I'm holding a grudge or anything... :;-)
The red flag for me here is that you're coworkers and she's asking you for help? Just wondering...
