I am a married bisexual man.  My wife knows that I have had sex with men before we met.  I have been faithful to her since I started dating her and desire to remain faithful to her.  When she found out I was had been with men she ask me many questions about my past as related to giving oral sex to men.  I have been very open and honest about what I have did, what I liked, what turned me on with men and even details about how I performed the act on men.  I answered all of her questions honest even though some of them were difficult for me to accept at the time from myself.  As an example it was hard to admit that I enjoyed what I did to those men.  Seems kind of obvious but to say it out loud to another person is quite different.  The one good thing which came from her outing me was that I finally admitted to myself that I was bisexual.  I struggle with is where to go to answer some of my questions on the subject.  I am hoping that this site will help me better understand myself.

there is nothing wrong with that if you like both sexes you like both. That is what being Bisexual is all about you have come to the right place. welcome I hope you like it here and feel comfortable here.

As a bisexual myself, I too struggle with internalized homophobia but this comes from having lived in the South for a good portion of my life. As you can well imagine, homophobia is a very real issue there even today. But now that I've had a little time and perspective on the things I dealt with growing up in that place, I can tell you that accepting your sexuality is a long arduous struggle that you can resolve by being open and honest with yourself, what you like, and maybe even by talking to those closest to you. Particularly people that you love and that love you.

I think homophobia is in the north especially in rural areas. I have always lived in the north. I can say it was a lot easier to find men to have sex with in bigger cities. I still feel uncomfortable because of my rural background.

You have been very honest and open with your wife which is surely to be appreciated. It seems quite natural to me to have some curiosity about our own sex as well as the opposite sex, if only to find out whether we are normal.
