At the top of the DS screen is a Search feature where you can type in someone's name and see all of their saved posts. There are even ones from when I was on my old nick "orb3d" and it's cool to go back and read some of the thoughts I had back then.
I took one from 2007: The Topic was 12.21.2012...the question was "So what would you do if you only had 5 years left?"
me: "I'd write my autobiography. Finish a perfect quilt. Paint 100 masterpieces... get a college degree in another subject. Make love to my partner everyday. Remind those that I love just how much I do.. every chance I got. "
I feel the same way today with a few additions that I won't go into right now.

I seemed to get better as time went on.
Now I see some things different.
I hope that some things that I went through will help others now.
I believe that we all have something to contribute to this world and I tell of my experiences to help not to hurt.
I just can't believe I was so mad.
I now have friends on here who make me think and others who care how I am.
I make friends for the long haul.

I've been online since the beginning of time... long before there were pictures... back when all we had was the Maine BBC and it was just text. *pulls the cobwebs out of my hair*. In 1985 I was in college for computer programming. Ended up becoming a 3d graphics artist for a prominent online company. They are now making approx. $150 mil a month using a great deal of the ideas we offered freely in Tech Talk. I was naive and didn't have the money to follow through on my own inventive ideas. This is where Second Life comes from. Truly. The contributions I've made have evolved into what we are enjoying now. Faster computers with little to no buffer congestion. Some really fun 3d art and I could go on forever about it all.
But, I'm just a simple woman living on the coast of Maine with my little furry daughter Cricket and my mate Will. My wondeful family. :-D I'm fortunate to be here and glad to be getting to know all of you beautiful people.

What is your hope or dream?
I have had issues working traditional jobs for years. I have been really ill for over a year, but one day I'd like to open a used bookstore.

I think if I did this I want to do it so working in a children's bookstore. I'm really now geared toward working with kids. I find it so rewarding.
