I would say I'm a good writer. I journal a lot and when I reread some of them from my college years, it's like reading a book of someone else's life. I used to dream of becoming an author. But who doesn't dream of that? My husband told me I should try writing a book but how many get published and what would the story be about? Also, when I am working, I'm fabulous at multitasking. I fear that when I start working again, I'll have forgotten everything. But writing is definitely what I'm best at, creatively speaking.

Well, my bp mom is an artist so I've always drawn & painted & written & sewed & made things...as you do. x

My creative side has been a hook and line to pull me out of the other collapsing 'sides'.It has magnified since BP hit and it also took a lot of work so I can't call it a gift or talent. 'Slog' maybe. I like Marmite

I am crafty. I write poetry and I love to scrapbook, take photos, and I'm learning to crochet. I enjoy trying new things.

SamW, have you been to lulu.com, it's a self-publishing site? They have affordable ways to put your work in a bound book. Design it yourself. Some specials going on which are very affordable. I keep dreaming of doing that and will someday. Just not yet, I haven't written enough.

I've been a musician all my life. I played professionally and taught, and still lead the worship ministry in our church. I also love to paint and draw. There is supposed to be a book in the offing, but that is a long term project - over 20 years in the making. I think the outline is on an old floppy drive. LOL

On the other hand, I think of myself as pretty balanced - I like math and all kinds of left brained things. I used to be an unbalanced bipolar, now I am a balanced one. Sort of.

if you want to see work done by psych patients in clinical states ie/ mania, depression, psychosis then I highly recommend the Cunningham Dax collection..amazing x

Angela, You have such a full life. I'm so lacking in the music dep't but ditto on the left/right brain deal since my major in college was business management, I hated accounting at first but then excelled. It's been 20 years since college but I'm going back this coming spring to finish a degree.
