I’m doing ok. My parents went to the store yesterday to buy what we need for a couple of weeks. I called papa and he had just been to the Walmart and they are out of bath tissue. I saw on Facebook a meme where the guy had a basketful of toilet plungers as a revenge on the toilet paper hoarders. Some humor in the mix.
This is serious guys though. I’m not gonna venture out more than I need to. Work and home.

people were standing outside Target this morning waiting for the store to open so they could get toilet paper. The store opens at 7am. Crazy!

I need to go to the grocery store. I’ve been trying to get situated with work and preparing to maybe work from home.

Chicago is closed up. No school, no museums, no concerts, and I have friends who were already laid off from work! But I feel our local and state government are handling things wonderfully....

It’s an unsettling time but everyone is in this together.

I'm prepped for being home. NC is shut down and the Governor has Declared a State of Emergency strictly limiting what can and can't be done. Public Schools closed, Universities are on Online Class, all entertainment/charity/public events have been canceled, NO gatherings of more that 100 people allowed. All city facilities and meeting places like Libraries/Civic Center's etc. are closed.

TX declared a State of Emergency and shut down the Trade Show my work folks are at, so that's a disaster they're trying to figure out how to navigate. I won't be going to the office anytime in the near future, we're kind of stuck in 2 different States without the ability to make the majority of our 1st Quarters Income.

My parents went to Sam's Club. They wanted to buy 4 cases of bottled water. They were only allotted two cases. They said it was nuts there. Yes, the TP was all sold out.

Also, I am considering hiding under my bed in the fetal position, sucking my thumb. Kidding. I am attempting to be funny.

I went to an Appt and hit an independent grocery store, with no problems. I hope this all passes quickly.

But Saturday errand running was business as usual so the whole ‘social distancing’ thing isn’t really happening.

The panic has hit here in Northern CA the schools are closed, lines at the grocery store are to the back wall, all activities involving crowds have been shut down. I got in under the wire last week to see Patti Smith two nights in a row. Pearl Jam has canceled their tour. I guess I have no excuse to deal with long neglected household projects....

Indeed, cleaning seems to be the safest thing to do. I’ve been cleaning all weekend. Mt church is staying open thankfully and I have lunch plans with a friend tomorrow. There is a confirmed case of covid-19 in a neighboring town.

Doing okay today. A good friend of mine from Greece told me that at 9 o'clock today, the whole country went outside and applauded and whooped it up a bit.

It was to say thanks to the nurses and doctors in the country risking their health to treat others. That made me happy. That gave me hope. Pure class. The same has also occurred in Spain, Portugal, and Poland.

I crack up people are to much they have no issue going to crowded crazy Costco or target to hoard shit but do they think about the hundreds of people around them and that is what the experts tell you to stay away from is crowds. So they have enough toilet paper but they are willing to risk being in crowds to get that roll of damn toilet paper. Stupid shits....sorry just makes me mad... anyways dying all that I hope everyone is well namaste Pema
