and I am trying my hardest to not let it over take me. Though I keep getting teary-eyed and feeling very unsettled within myself. Not liking this one bit....very, very upsetting to say the least. My period is coming back around like a whole week early so I know it's making things wonky for me right now and I keep telling myself that but it's not helping much. sigh
Just wanted to ask for some support and for someone to tell me that everything is going to be alright ya know?
I am worrying about what my life will be like when I am older, worrying about my kids and their lives, worrying about everything and I know I shouldn't go down that road. Worrying has become a bad habit for me but it's because I've ultimately always been the one to make most all of the decisions throughout my life. Never really had anyone to lean on or take over once in a while and hold the reins, so to speak. OK now I'm babbling....just needing some support here cause I feel like I am losing my freaking mind!
Thanks in advance...

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
I'm sure that your period isn't helping matters. I hope that this passes as quickly as possible. Oh yeah, and I'm not sure what meds you have for crisis situations, but if you have any benzos, I find that they can help with the racing worries sometimes.
(((HUGS)))
The cat in your avatar made me giggle because it looks just like my Tiny Tim! *smile*
I swear, my period hits around the same time and its hell on earth. The good thing about that is you know its gonna pass ( It just sucks that half our month is ruled by this)
((((Tats))) It will be ok, your strong...I'm here if you need me
You can smile at my avatar all day if you'd like. :) I just think it's hilarious how he gets up and walks away. lol
I know this might sound wishy washy but do you have any positive affirmations that may help ease the discomfort a little? when I can feel myself going into a downward spiral.. and if I catch it in time... those affirmations can make a difference
you have a lot on your plate... this will pass... keep reaching out and hopefully talking it over will provide you with a little relief x
Now I swear by this technique because it has helped me a lot, maybe give it a try if you want. Just sharing.
I have a worry period for the day. 20 min max. I can sit there and worry my little head off, writing them down helps too. If you write them out during that period you can find solutions and cross your worries of the list.
However, at any other time during the day if those little suckers start popping up I tell myself "not right now, I will worry about it later". I think this helps because it is natural for all of us to worry and by dismissing them temporarily you don't feel like you're pushing it down for good, but you know that you can get into it later. It's like you have permission to worry instead of fighting it.
Are you in therapy?.. that's something that when worked on may really help you..
Catastrophizing does make people freak out.. So much is completely out of our control..
What I've found as life goes on that another door always opens.. No matter what we face we are much stronger then we think and we get through it.. I reflect on past things that I have gotten through and if I'd thought about before they happened I would have thought I can't deal with it.. I can't go through this. But I have and I do and you will to
No one knows what's going to happen tomorrow.. more often then not it's good or positive things..
Focusing on what may happen is robbing you of today sweetie.. I have done this before as well..
I did it when both my mom and dad were dying and I wish I'd spent more time living for today.. It would have made my today's with them so much more special...xo
Don't ya just love being a girl?? :( Well, we **know** this too shall pass. :)
I wish I could turn your worry switch off. In my 20s I experienced some really traumatic, unforeseen events. I realized there were so many things I had no control over that I'd be better served to put my energies toward things I could impact. From then on, I just haven't been much of a worrier.
I'm sending you some peace to fill your heart right now so there is no room for worry.
The klonopin helped and delving into making a scarf helped to distract me some. So much has been happening lately with Will being sick and them STILL not knowing what the hell it is....it's just hard ya know??
With the help of some anti-nausea meds he is able to eat more but they still have yet to find out the cause.....so frustrating to say the least.
I've always been a worry wart and I really try hard to hand things over and not take them back!! Easier said than done though isn't it?? Takes practice, practice and lots of minduflness.....some days are just grueling to me though.
I hope everyone is having a decent day today ((hugs))back to you all!!
Sending prayers and good vibes you way!!! Wishing you peace and comfort ASAP!!!!
Hoping your fear gets under control...I know how fear can just knock the wind out of you
