I'm preoccupied with the winter that will be setting in soon. The layers of clothes- mixing and matching scarves and gloves, leggings and boots, etc, etc. and the short days and the long cold nights. I have low blood pressure so I feel the cold very easily. Winter-It's so much work.

Yeah, it is. Especially the clothes thing.
But it's pretty too. Waking up to a snow covered landscape...
or watching the snow fall while sipping a cup of hot cocoa.
Get one of those long poufy coats. They keep you so warm and you don't have to worry about layering your clothes.
And warm boots.

As a guy I'm not worried about mixing and matching clothes. Whatever's warm is good. The one thing I've found about winter is that it's good to survive! That gets easier as we move further south.

I prefer winter over summer ( you can only take off so many clothes). I enjoy the layers because I like fabric and colors so much. And snow can be so beautiful to look at even if it is a bitch to drive in. Luckily we don't get much.

Yeah, I'm gearing up for it. Not looking forward to standing outside waiting for public transportation with subzero temps and bitter cold wind. Oh and I agree....those long coats that hit the ankle are the best!

We have very mild winters here but when I lived in Chicago I loved it. I love all the layers. I had some fleece lined leggings to wear under my clothes and they really helped. L.L. Bean is a good store for finding super warm clothes.

I don't like the short days of crappy weather much at all... I love Spring and Fall... Ugh... I'm already looking forward to the Spring ...lol and that means I'll be another year older!!

I think winter is absolutely beautiful. I'm from Vermont so we tend to get a lot of snow - sometimes we're even snowed in which makes for a cozy indoor family day. I do suffer from SAD but I have a light box I use daily and my ADs go up in the winter.

I do love the textures of the clothes so I'll stay with that!

Winter here is a refreshing break from the punishing heat.
It only gets cold at night, which makes sleeping in the car
difficult, but the trade off is so worth it. The heat was hell.

I think the only reason I don't like winter is because I panick about driving in the bad weather. It got to be so bad I just won't do it anymore. I'm more of a spring/ summer person but I do enjoy the fall/winter scenery.

i live in a rain forest, so it's tough here. no snow, but 8 months without seeing the sun every year. not kosher for a bonafied sun-worshipper such as myself.

I like living in the South with a bit of freezing weather and the rare snow just enough to kill off bugs. I get to have the warm clothes and bundle up. If it snows everything just closes down.

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
